HERBAL MEDICINE

Herbal prescriptions combine a number of specifically selected herbs into a therapeutic formula to address the patient’s condition.

  • "Thank you for your careful attention and treatment over the last few months. My energy and other states have returned to ‘normal’ and I have much to thank you - and Chinese herbs - for that."

    K.W, CANTERBURY

  • "It’s a miracle! My wound has healed completely in just over 2 weeks. The nurse was amazed when I went to have the dressing changed. I feel really strong and am taking minimal pain killers."

    V.K, CANTERBURY

  • "Chronic pain from my arthritis hurts much less and I need fewer pain killers. This time of the year (autumn) I usually get flare-ups but it's 10x better now. A significant all round physical and mental improvement with every session."

The Founders

Dominic and Pippa

The founders and directors of Canterbury Acupuncture - Dominic Harbinson and Pippa Sequeira - met in 1997 when they were classmates training in acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. They qualified in 2000 and since then have been running clinics in Canterbury and the surrounding area for private patients, GP surgeries and voluntary organisations.

They each have over 20 years’ experience in treating a wide range of conditions, acute and chronic, which are often poorly managed (or ignored) by conventional medicine. Their clinical skills have been honed over decades of practice accompanied by in-depth study and ongoing training.
